Burmester is growing and Burmester is investing. Over the past two years, we have been pulling out pretty much all the stops in almost all areas of the company. The next important milestone for the company will now be to adapt our infrastructure: in purchasing, warehousing, manufacturing and communications.
To this end, there will be significant changes in logistics and along the manufacturing value chain - with state-of-the-art processes for quality assurance and delivery dates. As part of this, the degree of added value within Burmester will be increased even further. The handwork process will be extended (and simultaneously intelligently accompanied and supported by top-notch computer-aided processes).
A new and systematically revised Home Audio product portfolio over the next few years along with the rising demand we have been experiencing for some time now, require the largest conversion of our site in more than 40 years of company history. As the saying goes, no stone will be left unturned.
In order to be able to attentively execute all the construction work and to do this within 2019, the strict focus of all our capacity on this conversion will be essential. Against this background, it was agreed in close coordination with the High End Society that in 2019 Burmester does not attend the "High End 2019" trade show in Munich as an exhibitor, but will focus fully on the construction project in this period.
At the same time, Burmester and the High End Society also agreed that we will be back in 2020 with a new and significantly expanded presence at the fair.
