Burmester Audiosysteme exclusively uses high-class components in order to antagonize faults in the material or negative effects on the sound right from the beginning. It goes without saying that the quality of the parts and workmanship that go into our electronics is commensurate with their advanced design and their reputation in the marketplace. We go to extraordinary length to ensure not only highest musical quality but also the smooth and flawless operation of all control elements for many years to come.

Virtually all of the Burmester constructed case parts are purchased from German manufacturers. Every piece of equipment

is handmade in Berlin by our skilled personnel. Electronic parts are thoroughly tested and partly selected before they are built in. An extensive series of tests follow the assemblage. Power Amps for example have to pass almost 300 measurements before they are allowed to carry the seal of approval “Made by Burmester”. Burmester keeps a full history record of all units ever manufactured since the founding year 1977. The test protocols of every delivered piece of equipment are kept in our files for future reference in case of a modification or a repair.

Burmester electronics are acquirements with future prospects. The modular composition

allows updating and therefore guarantees high-level sound value over a long period. Upgrades are subject to the identical quality standards and measuring processes as new electronics. After upgrading and even after repairs your piece of equipment receives a full new warrantee.

Chrome front panels are not solely used for design reasons. Chrome is one of the few materials that virtually retain its value without limit. Apart from its attractive appearance chrome guarantees a durability, which equals the interior of a Burmester device.
